Crates, Gates and Pens to Prevent Jumping

An easy way to prevent your dog from jumping up is to put him in his crate or behind a gate when guests come. Then you can let him out to say "hello" once he has calmed down a bit. You might want to use a leash so that you can show him that he only gets to greet people with all four paws on the ground.
